Pakistani Rupee Gains Against US Dollar, Closes at Rs277.80

The Pakistani rupee was strengthened marginally against the US dollar on Friday. The local currency was closed at Rs277.80 per dollar after a gain of Re0.01 was recorded in the interbank market. On Thursday, the rupee had been settled at Rs277.81 against the greenback. The latest movement reflected continued stability in the exchange rate, although only a limited improvement was recorded during the session.
